nani is the first casual, affordable fine dining experience in oklahoma, and possibly the first in the world, to intertwine and serve japanese and native american cuisine together. serving a set coursed tasting menu each night, the dishes are largely inspired by - and provided by - our local surroundings and the changing seasons.
we use seasonal, locally and sustainably sourced ingredients and seafoods whenever possible, growing, procuring, and even foraging many of the ingredients with our own hands.
8-10 courses, plus amuse bouches and coffee service, with a contribution of $60 per guest (effective January 11, 2015,) though more is always welcome if you feel so inclined! dinners are BYOB (please be ready to provide proper identification), though we will supply the glassware for whatever libations you may bring.
please inform us of any serious food allergies (i.e., food allergies that would induce anaphylaxis such as shellfish, tree nuts, etc.) before your reservation, so that we may better accommodate you.
dietary restrictions or preferences will not be considered at this time unless noted prior (e.g., vegan dinners, which are usually scheduled monthly).
please read your reservation confirmation email carefully, as it provides additional important information for your reservation.
nani is a dinner club that seeks to explore and interweave the humble sensibilities of japanese and native american cuisine.
the word 'nani (nvni)' means 'fish' in the choctaw language and the question 'what?' in japanese, which we believe is an appropriate play on words given the influences of both cuisines.
nani is the first experience of its kind, and we are excited to share our passion and vision with you.
in addition to the care taken with our cuisine, nani also cares about our local populations in need, with 5% of all proceeds from select dinners being donated to local nonprofit social outreach groups.
